A Loose Horizon begins with the large opening in the center of the museum’s facade. From the visitor’s perspective inside the lobby, the opening serves as a frame for the view outside and represents a horizon or boundary between the interior and exterior. The project works with the potential of lines to shape space and is composed of a series of rays projecting from the frame to emphasize this border and expand the visual experience into a spatial one.
